Creative Filmmaking With Your HD DSLR

It’s a new era. The worlds of still photography and video are merging—leading to whole new possibilities in both creative and commercial work. This class is for still photographers who want to learn the basics of HD video.
Pro photographer Andy Batt and videographer Phil Incorvia will discuss the differences between HD video and traditional video cameras or camcorders, and will walk you through the many new features and options HD DSLR makes possible. You’ll also take a look at successful shooting workflow, sound recording basics, and post shoot workflow.
Class will include a second day of shooting and editing in Final Cut Pro. This class is a great opportunity to learn from talented pros at the forefront of new media.
Students must have HD DSLR cameras. Cameras may also be rented from Pro Photo Supply.
