Lighting I: Portrait

Description: This in-depth class provides foundational training in basic portrait lighting. With hands-on instruction, students will learn how to confidently set up and use strobe lights and related gear. Single, dual, and multi-light setups will be covered. Additional topics include: understanding and utilizing basic portrait lighting patterns, learning effective lens choice and posing techniques, and establishing a standard photographic process to make more efficient use of studio time. Weekly assignments will help students practice and hone their skills.

Prerequisites: DSLR camera required.
