Description: Building on foundations learned in Lighting I, students will delve more deeply into their craft, learning how to create illustrative portraits through multi-strobe setups and available light, and how to create environmental portraits within an interior space. Other topics will include the use of lighting gels, contrast control, posing guidance, and how to effectively break photographic rules to make a stronger portrait. Weekly assignments will help students practice the skills learned in each class meeting.
Prerequisites: Lighting I: Portrait Lighting or instructor consent. DSLR camera required.
