The Artistic Wedding
Level 2-4
This is an extended version of our popular class, expanded to include a day of hands-on shooting. Photographers with the right experience are in high demand in the wedding marketplace. Even if you’re just starting out, many couples are looking for more affordable talent to capture their special day. In this workshop, wedding photographers Leah Nash and Lauren Brooks will help you negotiate the many variables involved in shooting a successful wedding.
A visual tour of different approaches to wedding photography and a discussion of planning with the bride and groom, preparation and tools, pricing, and capturing key wedding moments will get you started just in time for the 2012 wedding season. Leah and Lauren will also discuss starting your own business and marketing your work. The second day will be a hands-on shoot focusing on lighting and posing—so you’ll be prepared when it comes to the big day.
Students must have DSLRs to take this class.
Leah Nash graduated Cum Laude from Vassar College with a degree in psychology.
