Thinking about selling your photographs, but not sure where to start? This one-day workshop is
an introduction to the business side of things, for those interested in family portraiture, fashion, or
commercial advertising work. Commercial and editorial photographer Alan M. Thornton will show
you the ropes so you can avoid common pitfalls and make the most of your new business.
You'll
learn key marketing tips for promoting yourself and your brand and will pick up invaluable pointers
for pricing and licensing your work. Alan will also discuss how to strike a balance between personal
passion and proper business practice to get your venture off on the right foot. Students should bring
5-10 images to share with the group.
