This weekend workshop is an opportunity to work with acclaimed photographer Linda Connor.
The weekend will focus on students' growth and development as artists, with an in-depth
look at photographic style, voice, and personal inspiration. The workshop will include reviews
of student work and a discussion of what it means to build a strong, cohesive body of work.
Using student work as a jumping-off point, Linda will talk about the importance of editing and
sequencing to create flow and impart deeper meaning to a series. Linda will also discuss the
role the history of the medium plays in the creation of modern works, and how image content
informs both technique and presentation. The workshop will be a wonderful opportunity to set
new goals for your work as you receive guidance and support from a talented artist and mentor.
Students should bring cameras and 25 or more images (work prints are fine) to share with Linda
and the group.
