This class is a more advanced look at location lighting for students who are already comfortable with the technical aspects of studio strobe photography in the field. Class will focus less on equipment and more on applied vision and technique. The day will be spent designing lighting scenarios in the field and shooting intensively.
Pro location photographer Stu Mullenberg will show you his unique personal techniques and help you learn to pre-visualize lighting scenarios so you can act decisively in the field. This class is a great chance to expand on your basic technical skills and branch out creatively.
Required prerequisite: Lighting Basics or instructor's consent. Students should bring cameras and may shoot with film or digitally.
The class will be taught by Portland photographer Stuart Mullenberg.
