2nd ANNUAL NATIONAL JURIED EXHIBITION

This year we received 471 entries, bringing the number of images viewed by the judges to 2,355! The entries were narrowed down to 2 images by each of the 21 photographers selected, representing 12 different states.

This selection of work admirably meets the goals of the annual competition: to offer Portland a well-rounded selection of images representative of contemporary photography on a national level. Color, black & white, digital, traditional silver and alternative processes are all present in this show. Narrowing the field down from over 450 entries was a very difficult task and the judges felt there were many examples of excellent work that did not make it into the exhibition. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be announced during the opening reception and will be posted online shortly thereafter.
