New Photography
1st ANNUAL NATIONAL JURIED EXHIBITION

Juried by Terry Toedtemeier
Curator of Photography, Portland Art Museum
Assisted by Mariana Tres and Chris Bennett.

Newspace Center for Photography is pleased to present it’s 1st Annual National Juried Exhibition which will feature 39 photographers from 16 different states in what will be a solid offering of what is happening nationally in contemporary photography. Color, black & white, digital, traditional silver and alternative processes are all present in this show. Narrowing the field down from over 300 entries was a very difficult task but something about the images selected really stuck with the judges.

“The diversity of images in the “New Photography” exhibit form a broad survey of the kinds of work being produced by emerging and established photographers today. The vitality of the show accrues to the richness of styles, humor, and varied traditional and digital media.”
